#4 Selenite drops into a good speed for high-percentage trainer Brad Cox and looms large over this level of competition. In solid form this winter and spring against better horses at Fair Grounds, and should rediscover the winner’s circle here back against NY breds.
Play in exacta box w/#7 Khaleesi Kat, who won two races ago separated by a five-month layoff in-between, but returned from the sidelines better than ever for Mott and has continued room for improvement. If the speed pops and the pace collapses, this horse will be the main late threat.

#3 Ouro Verde
Been a major factor in both races so far down at this $40k maiden level and drops back down to the proper competition here today. Sharp workout since last race indicates current fitness, and the jockey switch to Johnny Velazquez indicates winning trainer intent for David Donk.
