#10 Kharafa is a veteran NY stakes performer perfectly suited to success in today’s 7F state-bred turf stakes race. Got a return prep race under his belt last time out and is slated to improve today in the second start off the layoff, just like he did last year in this race. Handles any kind of turf, and loves Belmont throughout his career with 15 mostly stakes in-the-exacta turf finishes from 21 tries so far.

Play in exacta box w/#2 Lubash, who is another NY-bred turf stakes veteran with 10 wins and 17 career exacta finishes here at Belmont, mostly against this level of competition at least. Last two outings were in the money finishes against open Graded stakes company, including the good third last time, beaten only a length in the G3-Miami Mile, which was his return from a layoff. Will be very tough today in the second off a layoff back on his favorite turf course.
