#3 Spun Copper suffered a tough assignment loss last time in a small stakes in the mud, but will benefit from the drop back down to this more appropriate class level. Owns good tactical speed, but doesn’t need the lead to win, and is ready to regain best form.

Play in exacta box w/#4 Sweetrayofsunshine, who is a 17-time career winner coming off back-to-back victories. Keeps getting claimed, and continually has held good form in all of the recent races. Ran right there with the top pick when they last met a few months ago.

Race 7

#3 Noble and True

Never ran a bad dirt race with a 5-for-5 record in the money record that now includes a good one-turn effort in the second-place finish last time out. Actually got tired at the end of that one-mile race, so today’s slight cutback in distance to 7F should prove just what the doctor ordered in the first start off the claim by high-percentage claiming trainer David Jacobson.
