Flopped on the turf last time out, but now returns to the dirt where she had reeled off two straight big wire-to-wire wins when last seen on this surface at Belmont. Regular rider Dylan Davis remains aboard and won't deflate the price.

Race 9

#5 Romantic Babe

Plus play an exacta box w/ #6 Sassy Sienna

#5 Romantic Babe is the horse to beat in the PG Johnson Stakes after a strong career debut victory last time as much the best in a turf sprint where she overcame a bad start to pass the entire field en route to victory – a rarity for first-time starters. Goes out for trainer David Donk, who rarely wins or even tries with first starters, so if this horse graduated at first asking, she did it on her own and has to be the real deal. Stretchout to a route today is no problem.

Play in exacta box w/ #6 Sassy Sienna, who is an out-of-town invader for trainer Brad Cox, who has had tremendous success on turf in New York the last few months. This horse was a good-thing in Indiana Grand career debut last time and won for fun at 7 1/2F (two turns) and did so from off the pace when bet down to 3-5 odds. Castellano picks up the mount, and Cox has good numbers with stretchouts. Live x-factor, at least for the exacta boxes.
