Plus play an exacta box w/#5 Switzerland

#6 Tommy T is undoubtedly the fastest horse in this field so far in his career with speed figures far surpassing the rest of this bunch, but his 3 second-place finishes in three outings so far makes it impossible to make him a best bet on top. Nevertheless, he’s the top pick and a must in all exacta boxes, because he’s never run a bad race, and his runner-up finishes look even better now that all three of his races turned into key races, with every one of the winners who have beaten him coming back to win in their next races.

Play in exacta box w/ #5 Switzerland, who finished narrowly behind Tommy T in the same key race when the horses last met, both beaten by repeat next-out winner Eight Town.  Two bullet workouts since last race indicate continued good fitness and that this horse seems to be progressing forward toward the maiden win.

#7 Cursor

Lost the Grade 1 Test Stakes two races ago when pitched too high, but won both of the other two most recent races including a big win last time with a career-best speed figure that will be tough to beat if she can repeat it today. Good value morning line odds at 6-1, and the favorites in this field are all questionable for various reasons.
