In great current form with sharp in the money finishes in all three recent dirt races, including a win three races ago and a near miss two races ago when last seen at this 6F distance. High recent speed figures put this horse at the top of this field, and should sit a perfect pressing trip right off the speed. Handles any kind of track condition in case of a wet track.

Plus play an exacta box w/#6 Split Time

#3 Viradia nearly graduated last time out when dropped on against maiden claimers, and even tough this horse is back up against maiden special weights here, she is nevertheless the horse to beat against today’s lackluster field based on the good near-miss effort last time when she lost by a neck while five lengths clear of the third-place horse.

Play in exacta box w/ #6 Split Time, who makes her career debut today off a solid work tab for trainer Linda Rice, and gets Irad Ortiz aboard, which is key because the Rice and Ortiz trainer/jockey combo hits at around a 40% success rate. Aside from the top pick, the other horses in this race who’ve already run haven’t shown much.
