#1 Sharpe and Ready is the horse to beat in this field of mostly first-time starters. Owns by far the best workouts and the fastest worktab of any of the horses entered, and is the horse that will offer the betting value. Hails from a lower-profile barn and running against some Kiaran McLaughlin entrants that figure to take the most money, despite the fact that that barn doesn’t crank up its runners for their first career starts.

Play in exacta box w/ #2 California Night, who is another horse coming up to the career debut with promising workouts and offers a good alternative to the McLaughlin favorites. Comes off a fast morning workout and will offer good value in the exacta boxes at 8-1 odds on the morning line.
