This horse just missed by a neck last time in the first outing, and probably doesn’t need to improve mush to beat these but should be ready to improve here nonetheless for a barn that has won with 3 of its last 7 second-time starters. Teams up with Zayas, who makes a 34% jockey/trainer combination at Gulfstream along with Ralph Ziadie.

Play in exacta box w/ #2 Onebrethatatime, who has been knocking on the door with back-to-back second-place finishes against maiden special weights in her last two races, including last time out against open company with a speed figure that’s better than today’s competition. Moves back in against Florida-breds today and is the obvious exacta partner along with the top pick.

Took the blinkers off and sprang to life last time with an improved effort for second in a good job of holding on after going for the lead under pressure the whole way. Needed that race off a nine-month layoff and is ready to improve in this second race off a layoff if the race comes off the turf.
