#1 Terrasole didn’t get a great start last time behind a runaway winner in this horse’s first race back from a 2 ½-month layoff. Ran third in that spot and now is ready to improve in this second race off the layoff today. No hasty drop in class noted for trainer James Bond, and de facto leading rider Davis keeps the mount.

Play in exacta box w/ #9 Strawberry Tequila, who switched from turf to dirt last time out and sprang to life with an improved effort for second with a speed figure good enough to beat today’s rivals. Stepping up into an allowance today, but was good enough last time to overcome a bad start and still run well, and this field really isn’t any tougher than last time despite the higher class level.
