Plus play exacta box w/ #3 Saraab
#2 Double Deep just missed by a head last time out in a solid second-place finish when six lengths clear of the third-place horse. Earned a good speed figure and has done well since the addition of blinkers. Should get over the hump versus maidens today in the first start for the new barn off the claim.
Play in exacta box with #3 Saraab, who probably will be an underlay favorite in this race, but that certainly doesn’t mean he isn’t good enough to at least hit the exacta in this spot for leading trainer Steve Asmussen. Has only one race so far off of a long layoff, and it was a turf races at Fair Grounds, so this horse is much iffy-er than the top selection in this race. However, this will be his second race off the layoff, and if he is ready to improve then he could be a tough customer based on some of his earlier dirt route efforts with solid speed figures.

#4 Far Right
Drops in class and has rarely faced this level of competition. Exits a Graded stakes loss on a wet track, but was solid for third in a $125K stakes race two outings ago. Likes Oaklawn the best and has the speed figures to indicate he’ll be successful down against today’s rivals.
