#2 Transaction Tax began her career with a pair of solid main track sprint efforts, then graduated in a turf sprint and has continued with some solid efforts since then with speed figures that stack-up well against these horses. Lost to Angel Food two races ago, but had a tougher trip that day and needed the race off a layoff. Now ready for the best effort in the third race of the form cycle, and will be tough to beat either on the turf or off-the-turf.
Play in exacta box with #7 Gypsy Janie, who is a live longshot down at this easier class level after losing twice in a row against stakes here. The class drop will make all the difference for a horse that clearly handles the dirt, including wet tracks, has been training for the turf, and offers overlay odds at 12-1 odds on the tote board.
