Was on his way to the Travers last summer when injured, but has been on the comeback trail this season for Pletcher, who has pointed him to this spot for his coming out party, much like the Travers was supposed to be. Never been past 1 1/8 miles but has been ready, waiting, and able to get this distance. Offering giant value at 8-1 odds on the morning line.

#4 Hofburg, who will relish the extended 1 ½-mile distance. Up and coming lightly-raced horse ran second behind Audible in the Florida Derby in only his third career race and then suffered a bad trip in the Kentucky Derby. Now he’s the fresher newer version of Justify ready to take that one’s mantle, at least for this Saturday.
Play in exacta box with #8 Vino Rosso is Todd Pletcher’s best hope for a fourth Belmont Stakes win and he is ready to make up for a disappointing finish in the Kentucky Derby. Won New York’s Wood Memorial and is by Curlin and will handle the Belmont’s extended distance. Rested between the Derby and Belmont unlike the overextended favorites in this race, Justify and Bravazo. Gets a favorable outside draw, has the right pace stalking running style, and is sitting on a big effort.
