sprint outings and comes off dominant back-to-back wins including one here and
one at Saratoga. Goes out for new barn off the claim (Linda Rice), but keeps
rider Irad Ortiz and should remain in winning form.

who didn’t have a great outing last time up at Saratoga, but the key here today
is the return to Belmont where he is a horse for the course with 3 wins in 4
career starts at this track, including back to back wins at the spring-summer
meet here with speed figures that could threaten the top choice at 12-1 odds on
the morning line.

#3 Quivery
If this race
stays on the turf, this English import looks like the one to beat at 6-1 odds
on the morning line with Castellano picking up the mount. Needed a race last
time in comeback from a 10-month layoff, and actually didn’t run bad with a
speed figure in the ballpark with the best of these. Now poised to improve in
the second start off the layoff, and performed good enough in an English Group
3 race last fall to serve notice that she’ll be tough here at this level.
