#7 Turco Bravo
Winner of three races in a row,
all in routes, is a legitimate two-turn distance horse that is perfectly suited
for this 1 3/16-mile distance and obviously is consistent and in good form now.
Immediate claiming back by trainer David Cannizzo, who won with him two races
ago by four lengths with a good speed figure. A repeat of any of the recent
races beats this field to extend the winning streak.

#3 Speightful Kitten got a bit tired last time at 6F but
still ran a solid effort for second. Now cuts back in distance a tad to 6F,
which seems to be his preferred distance. Hit the board in the two recent dirt
6F races, and tends to come from off the pace at this distance on the main
track which is a strong positive today because the pace scenario in this spot
looks tough and he’ll be in a perfect spot if able to rate off the pace. Lost
to good-looking winners Syndergaard and Stoney Bennett in recent losses, but
against this field he is the one who is the horse to beat.
Play in exacta box with #2 Jibber Jabber, who invades from
Penn National where all three career races have been so far, and he hasn’t done
anything wrong yet with a perfect 3-for-3 career record. Speed figures stack-up
well enough against this field and he is arriving along with his regular rider
from out of town. The 12-1 morning line odds are too good for a horse like this
that clearly likes to win races.
