trainer Christophe Clement. Dueled for the lead all the way and held on for
second by a neck behind a nice-looking winner. Gets a second chance on the turf
today and will be tough to beat vs. these with a repeat or improvement of that
last speed figure.

box with #9 Andretta, who has been knocking on the door vs. turf sprint maidens
since last year with a total of 4 seconds and a third in 7 career starts.
Needed the last race off the winter layoff and Jose Ortiz picks up the mount
after riding some good efforts for this horse last season. Looms the obvious
exacta box horse at 9-2 odds on the morning line.

Ran big in two dirt sprints to begin the career for Rudy Rodriguez,
and now switches to the grass off the claim by turf sprint queen trainer Linda Rice.
Has obvious abilities and should move up for Rice with the switch to the turf.
Well drawn toward the outside. Offers good value at 10-1 odds on the morning
line.
