and has been brought along to date with three prep races leading all along to
this outing in the Belmont Stakes, where he has been pointed due to his prime
Belmont Stakes 1 ½-mile pedigree by Tapit. Owns the right pace stalking running
style that is well-suited for this race, and puts blinkers on to ensure he
stays within close striking distance of the front of the pack at all times. Bad
start hurt his chances in the Peter Pan, but that was just a prep for the true
goal, which is today.
Play in exacta box with #10 Tacitus, who won this spring’s
Tampa Bay Derby and Wood Memorial to stamp himself amongst the best of this
year’s 3yo crop. Ran a solid effort in the Kentucky Derby to be fourth, third
