from a six-month layoff last time out with a solid third-place finish and now
is ready to take the necessary step forward to win in this second race off the
layoff for trainer Christophe Clement, who has been hot all meet. Stretches to
a slightly longer distance which can only help the cause. Both races since the
maiden win have been at a tougher level, and this class drop with Rosario
keeping the mount will make this horse tough to beat.

#5 Madita has
entered in three key races since arriving from Europe last summer, but the best
of the NY starts was definitely last time out, which was a strong winning
allowance effort off of a long layoff, four lengths ahead of next-out winner
Xanthique. Now goes second off the layoff with a good chance to improve even
further.

exacta box with #9 Chaleur, who came over from Great Britian last time and ran
a solid third in the US debut off a layoff in a tough spot at Churchill Downs,
where she was beaten less than a length while just a head behind next-out
winner, Art of Almost. Johnny V. is back for the mount for Mott. All systems go
in this second off the layoff.
