this year with 6 in the money finishes from 6 starts so far including a couple
wins at Belmont. Raised up to a tougher level last time and finished third, but
now drops into a more manageable spot. Low-profile connections ensure a fair
price, judging by the generous 6-1 odds on the morning line. Good past record
at Saratoga with a win and two seconds in three prior outings at this track.

Flashpackinbarbie returned from nearly a year layoff last time with a strong
victory, and even though this race will be a tougher spot with the class rise
in versus allowance horses, this horse will benefit from that last race and be
ready improve here in the second off the layoff. Soldi speed figure last time
out is cause for optimism.
Play in
exacta box with #9 Jewel of Arabia, who is the morning-line favorite here
coming off of a big maiden win last time out on a wet track. Never been off the
board in four outings, and fits well in this first start up versus winners at
this opening allowance level. Ran well at Saratoga last season. Winning rider
Franco goes off to ride Flashpackinbarbie, but this horse picks up Rosario and
will be tough to beat.
