in comeback race off a nine-month layoff. Needed that last race but now is
ready to win with Rosario taking over in return from the sidelines for a barn
that’s going great now.

Chasing was well-bet off a seven-month layoff for Clement but drew the tough
turf sprint rail post in a big field and got off to a bad start in last to be
at an immediate disadvantage en route to a fifth-place finish, then looked much
better last time in second off the layoff at 6F at Belmont when setting the
pace and nearly going all the way en route to a second-place finish. Gets a
prime outside turf sprint draw today and benefits from the Saratoga distance of
5 1/2F. Trainer Clement is the king of Spa turf sprints.
Play in
exacta box with #7 Frenchie Frou Frou, who ran her best career race two starts
back in her only turf sprint attempt to date in a third-place finish after
getting off to a bad start. Toss out the route loss last time out. Blinkers on
and a better break will keep this horse closer to the pace, and that should be
enough to finish no worse than in the excata.
