This horse
has improved sharply in his most recent turf route races, first with the maiden
win three races ago at Saratoga, and then last time out with a fourth-place
finish here at Belmont at a tougher level against a much better field. The
speed figures for both of those recent route outings are each good enough to
beat this field. Jose Ortiz, who rode for the maiden win, is back aboard for
the mount.
