maiden claiming race at the $30k level, which represents a class drop for her.
Toss out the last-place race last time out where she was not persevered with
after missing the break. Two races ago improved and showed promise, and ran an
ever better speed figure before that in her career debut which was her only
race to date on a fast track. Lezcano, aboard for the third-place finish two
races ago, is back aboard for the mount.

was one of the top local juvenile turf fillies of last year, winning the PG
Johnson and then finishing second in the Miss Grillo en route to the Breeders’
Cup. Took a long time between races to make her 3yo debut, and needed a race
last time out off the 10-month layoff. Now goes second time back off the layoff
today and meets a softer crew with irad Ortiz picking up the mount. The 4-1
odds on the morning line seems like a gift.

exacta box with #8 Windfall Profit, who got good in her two most recent outings
for Shug McGaughey, first winning the maiden race at Saratoga two races ago and
then last time out, closing for fourth but finishing within a length of the
victory after closing from too far behind a slow pace in a race that favored
front runners.
