that are steadily escalating in every race now, and is in better form than ever
now based on the last race, which was by far this horse’s best. Went to the
lead last time and nearly went wire-to-wire en route to a second-place finish,
and once again looms speed and the rail back against a similar field today.
Play in
exacta box with #3 Bernardino, who needed a race last time out in return from a
year-and-a-half layoff, yet was still good enough to finish a solid second
behind a runaway winner. Will only improve today in the second start in return
from the sidelines.

#7 Playwright
Some of the
other favorites in this race have undesirable lifetime records at Aqueduct, but
not this horse, who actually loves the local layout with 3 wins and a total of
7 Aqueduct main track exacta finishes to his credit. Had won 2 in a row when
last seen at this one-turn mile distance when last seen at Aqueduct. The more
recent races haven’t been as good, but he is ready for a positive turnaround.
