races at Keeneland after finally adding Lasix, and seems much improved in races
that were tougher than this. Looks very strong at this class level with the two
most recent speed figures, including a third-place finish last time in a
Keeneland stakes. Owns good speed and can go to the lead and never look back.
Play in
exacta box with #4 Lady Rocket, who started her career a perfect 2-for-2 with
quality wins at Keeneland and Saratoga before losing last time in a $100k
stakes race. No shame there, and today she’s back against allowance competition
at a level where she should be no worse than second. Jockey Geroux off to a 41%
start to this Oaklawn meet, and he’s a 35% winning jockey/trainer combination along
with trainer Mike Maker at Oaklawn.

Returned
from a brief layoff last time out at Churchill with a victory in the first race
for new trainer Moquett in a game effort that represents an improvement for
this barn. Runs well fresh and has won before at Oaklawn. Meets a field he can
beat and he’s a bargain overlay at 8-1 odds on the morning line.
