plus exacta box with #4 Silky Blue

#3 Awsum Roar lunged out of the gate and lost best chance at the start last time out upon arrival from Gulfstream but had been in good form in the races before last and fits well at this level here with a better break. Owns a win at Saratoga in a past turf sprint. Saez picks up the mount at gift 6-1 odds on the morning line.

Play in exacta box with #4 Silky Blue, who exits a sub-par effort last time at Belmont but was by far good enough to win a race like this in the races prior to that most recent disappointment. Runs well much more often than now with 2 wins and a total of 6 exacta finishes in 10 career races so far.

Race 9

#3 Ego Trip

Was solid in UK career debut and then switched to the turf for the first time last time in her US debut and ran well to close for second from far back in a tough race at one-mile off the layoff. Now will benefit from that last outing, and get a little more real estate to work with. Maiden means business in this stakes race and the price will be nice.
