Drew post 10 in a turf route and lost ground four wide on the first turn when needing a race off a seven-month layoff yet still ran a solid result for second last time. Now goes second out off the layoff and lands in a highly winnable spot.

Race 6

#9 Moon Gate

Plus exacta box with #10 Brindi

#9 Moon Gate had to hustle up early from the turf sprint rail in career debut and had to chase a runaway speed horse that sprinted clear on a crazy pace. Tired in the late stages at 6F but ran on for third and now draws away from the rail and will benefit from this shorter 5 1/2F distance for the barn of top local turf sprint trainer Christophe Clement.

Play in exacta box with #10 Brindi, who is another entrant in this race from the Clement barn who will be live at first asking from the beneficial outside post draw with Irad Ortiz taking the mount.
