Mutuel Field favored in second Derby Future Wager

Louisville, KY (Sports Network) - The second of three Kentucky Derby future wagering pools has been set with 24 betting interests, including 23 individual horses. The pool opens Thursday at noon (et) and closes Sunday at 6 p.m. (et).

The mutuel field, which includes all three-year-olds not specifically listed, is the 4-1 morning line favorite in the wager. The field was the 5-2 favorite at the conclusion of the first future wager last month.

Three horses are 8-1 in the morning line. Breeders' Cup Juvenile winner Street Sense, Robert B. Lewis Stakes champ Great Hunter and Sham Stakes victor Ravel are co-favorites among the 23 individual thoroughbreds. Street Sense has yet to race this year.

Holy Bull Stakes winner Nobiz Like Shobiz, 8-1 at the close of the first pool, is 15-1 in the second pool's morning line. Nobiz Like Shobiz was third in last week's Fountain of Youth Stakes.
