HORSES TO WATCH

CRIMINAL POWER: Went in fairly even fashion when fifth on turn back in distance and surface switch for latest; sharper for experience.
IDE BE GONE: Rallied well to be along for one-length victory in his latest and has now taken two of his last three; veteran is a proven winner ($426K earned) and can keep rolling.
KLISSURA: Battled with the pace and came up second best when favored over 11 rivals in her latest turf dash; lightly raced 4YO getting better with each start.
LIL’MISS MISCHIEF: Battled on the pace and gave way to fourth when it counted in her most recent start on stretch out in distance; primed for upcoming third start of current form cycle.
PORTS N PORSCHES: Raced inside, tipped out, and continued evenly in the lane when fourth in his latest; gelding with back class might step up off claim by trainer Armata.
SANT ELENA: Rallied for second from between rivals in her first start here via Europe, and did so coming off a November-layoff; onward and upward.
4*SPECIAL: ROYAL MAGENTA: Flattened in the lane and settled for a close fifth most recently, but was asked to tackle 10 furlongs for the first time; benefits.
LONGSHOT: PLEASANT AMELIA: Went in game fashion when a close fourth at square ticket in her latest; rounding back to best form.
PHILADELPHIA PARK
COLEGA: Dropped to MCL ranks for latest and responded with rally to win going away; capable of handling winners in reasonable spot in current form.
MS WOLFSKI: Rated, challenged for the lead, and came up short in the stretch when a close fourth in her latest; note, effort was big step in right direction following some poor tries.
SAFEBREAKER: Chased the pace and continued on evenly when fourth in latest sprint attempt; always in the mix, he’s a must-use in your exotics.
SANTA ZANTA: Battled with the pace and fought off a rival in stubborn fashion to get her maiden win by a nose most recently; 3YO filly keeps improving.
VELVET HOPE: Made it three straight wins in latest and remained popular at the claim box, this time moving back to the Demasi barn; keeps on trucking.
WALDEN POND: Chased and weakened a touch when fifth in his latest; slight dip in class proves the key for son of Smoke Glacken.
4*SPECIAL: EVENING MEADOW: Rated, then battled, and held gamely to finish a narrowly beaten third in just his second start off long layoff; all set now.
LONGSHOT: FLYING CLIPPER: Never posed a real threat when fourth in dirt return most recently, but raced in hot dash; sharper moving forward for winning Allen barn.
