HORSES TO WATCH

By: AMERICAN TURF CLUB

PHILADELPHIA PARK

DON’T TELL JOEY: Could not factor in outcome when sixth in his latest, but muddy track may not have helped; gets a chance to bounce back.

F THREE: Withstood pace pressure and proved best by a half-length as favored winner over 11 opponents in game debut; capable of taking next step.

PROUD COMIC: Held strong form with rally from wide post to be along in time for win in his latest; seven-time winner keeps the ball rolling now.

RED MAGIC: Raced inside giving chase and could only manage fifth for the second straight start in restricted stakes company; finds better spot.

SUNSHINE RONNIE: Raced outside and couldn’t mount rally when off best form and sixth in his latest; restricted stakes company may have proved a bit too much.

TOP OF THE KEY: Battled on pace and weakened to fourth in the stretch when beaten as the favorite in her latest start; give chance to make amends off claim by trainer Reese.

4*SPECIAL: PARADE PATH: Proven winner made the pace and set hot tempo before he tired to fourth in his first try since May most recently; all set now.

LONGSHOT: MISTY A.G.: Returned from May-break and rallied from well back to finish a narrowly beaten fourth in blanket finish; primed now.

ELLIS PARK

BACK UP KIM: Blasted clear on pace and paid price in lane when he backed up to fifth in his first start since last December; colt with talent makes forward progress now.

CAT SHAKER: Got the job done under mild urging when heavily favored for latest; can tackle tougher now in present form.

CUBBIES GIRL: Could only manage mild late pace for fourth when returned from March-layoff most recently; steps up her game.

HOOCHIE GLIDE: Managed just an even finish when sixth in her latest, but faced a different surface yet again; settles in locally now and makes leap forward.

IRISH TOUR: Had rocky gate getaway and managed fourth in useful try most recently; race over the course helps the cause for next time.

PRISSY IS AS DOES: Chased, gave way, and didn’t complete the course in latest, but was making first start since March and caught sloppy footing; follow off claim by Huber barn.

SECOND SHIFT: Raced near the pace, but between foes and while wide, before giving way to sixth in latest dash; clear shake with cheapies does the trick.

SHE’S NO BULL: Shot free early, rated comfortably, and then blew it open in lane for winning debut on turf; climbs class ladder.

WAIT ON TATE: Barn showed confidence with move to MSW ranks for latest, but gelding got cooked on pace and faded to fifth; next time.

4*SPECIAL: CAT BACK: Rated just off pace following rocky start then finished well after wide journey to be second, beaten just a length, in useful debut; all set now.

LONGSHOT: TRICKLE ME GOOD: Was used chasing the pace and gave way in latest, but was in tough on step up to ALW ranks off prior MCL score; benefits from effort.
