Horses To Watch

TURF PARADISE

ARIANNE: Trailed when a big price on tote in last, but jockey Stevens did have the call; worth a stab

right back should rider stay on board.

EMBARASSING MOMENT: Up for second when winner got first run last time; next time it’s her turn

versus similar stock.

EMERY: Battled throughout on sharp pace when dropping a head decision versus MCL’s; set to leave

present company.

IZA TORNADO: Put speed to good use in game win Oct. 4; speed simply kills in lower-end claiming

sprints.

MR. PEPPERS: Finished third as the favorite in latest (bumped start, wide turn), he can improve following

claim by trainer Fulmer.

SEATTLE SUNSHINE: Along for a share in latest, and in spite of wide spot into stretch run; staying on

board.

STAGE CREEK: Dueled and faded in last, but his speed remains dangerous in $4K- tag sprints.

TOE THE MARK: Chased in vain behind blowout winner in latest, but finished well clear for second; another

chance.

4STARSPECIAL: MISS TERASITA: Finished flat fifth as favorite in latest; she’s simply better than that

and can prove it in short order.

LONGSHOT: GOLD BIDDER: Finished up to grab show dough in last; proves well worth $8K-claim for

trainer Russo.

LAUREL

AMERI PRINCESS: Stalked the pace while three wide and hung in well for third. Fits with NW2L $7.5k claimers.

CITIKITTI: Got up into the second spot behind wire to wire winner in a five furlong turf sprint. Will be tough if she

can get a similar inside trip next out.

HEART OF A HERO: Passed a few horses in the drive to finish an even fourth last out. A drop in class to

lesser claiming foes can do the trick, tab.

HURRICANE ALLY: Was outrun early while racing off the rail and then came with a strong late run to finish a solid

second. Is a good fit with $6.5k claimers.

IMPERIOSO: Was up close early on while racing in second and almost got the job done just missing by head at 57-1.

Should fare well with similar starter allowance foes next out.

JACQUELYN T: Was bumped off stride at the start and was never able to make up the needed ground finishing an

even fifth.

JODI WINGS: Filly loves to win and came up a half length short of the prize last out. Veteran mare should be

followed right back.

LAUNCH YOUR DREAMS: Made a strong move into the leader but could not reach and tired to fourth. Was

claimed from that event and fits with $5k claimers.

VENIZIA: Was the easiest kind of winner last out scoring by six lengths after trailing early. 2YO can repeat versus

similar and may have a future.

VOICE OF POWER: Closed some good ground late in a quickly run turf sprint and his diploma awaits.

ZIP ZIP BOOM: 2YO flashed good speed through a solid opening quarter in 22:2 before tiring at the half. Is a

danger to go all the way at a big price.

4STARSPECIAL: RED VELVET CAKE: Held a large lead in the stretch only to get rundown late in the

drive and finish second easily. Scores a wire to wire victory next out with similar.

LONGSHOT: SHOULDN’T WE ALL: Was an even fifth behind a wire to wire winner and must be respected

for her backclass, follow.
