Horses To Watch

By: ATC

LAUREL

DIXIE DRUMMER: Pulled off the last to first score by just under a length. Is a must use right back with similar and

is extra tough with a pace up front.

HAUNTED RIVER: Stalked the pace while racing wide and just missed getting the score by a neck. Try her right back

with NW2L foes.

HEROIC SIGHT: Chased a very quick pace and hung around for third in a six furlong sprint that went in 1:08:4. Should be

right there next out with similar.

KING RICHARD: Closed from well back to just miss the place spot by a head in a quickly run race. Should be right there next out.

MISS CONNIE SUE: Scored a mild upset last out at 12-1 over a field of $25k claimers. This 2YO can only get better and

should be given a shot even with a bump in class.

OUR MARIAH: Dueled head to head with the favorite and it cost them both as they tired to 3rd and fourth respectively. A

better pace scenario puts her right there.

STARVEST: Was sent to the lead from the rail, dueled and was still there late. $15k claimers suit her fine, follow.

SUAVE MISS: Ran her eyeballs out to just miss by a half-length at 96-1. Can score next out in a turf sprint against maidens.

TRIP CHARGE: Led through some very fast fractions and just missed by a head and a neck at a solid price. Fits in turf sprints.

TWO T’S: Had no early speed, came wide into the stretch and was a solid third. Fits with $16k maiden claimers.

YOGA: 4YO colt scored as the favorite last out and may now start to live up to his potential. Tab.

4PSPECIAL: LAST CALL FOR LOVE: Was no match for the 1-2 favorite last out but was easily second best. Speedster

is taken to go wire to wire next out.

LONGSHOT: MARK ME SPECIAL: Was sent off at 125-1 and outran her odds to finish a solid fourth, despite trouble

at the start and racing wide.

PENN NATIONAL

A. PEEZING GINA: Chased the favorite and runaway winner last out and held very well for second

easily defeating the third place horse. Should be tough with NW3L.

C F SLEW OF STORMS: Made a move at the leader but could never make any impact and tired to fourth.

A better pace scenario helps.

COMIC BOOK: Was unhurried early on and then made a strong move at the leaders before fading to third.

JACK STAR: Was up on the pace throughout from a tough post and tired late to finish fourth. The price is

right next out, tab.

KID RUCKUS: Tried to take it all the way on the lead last out but tired in the drive and finished a distant third to

a dominate winner. Can score with NW2L right back.

LOVE IS THE HUB: Closed from well back to get up for third behind the two favorites. Basement claimer can surprise at a price.

LOVE TINKS: Opened up a huge lead versus a very solid money allowance field and like her chances with a little

class relief.

TALON’S LARK: Was the beaten favorite last out after battling on the pace through some quick fractions and tiring to

second. Should score over NW3L next out.

4PSPECIAL: MR. KUCK: Holds a backclass edge over $5k claimers and still has that

sharp early speed, follow right back with similar.

LONGSHOT: WHISPER LOW: Came with a solid late run in the stretch to finish third and fits nicely

$3.5k claiming level.
