Horses To Watch

By: American Turf Club

WOODBINE

ADJALAH: Closed good ground to finish third behind the top two choices in the race and should

be followed right back over a dry surface.

COOL SELECTION: Led all the way over a sloppy track and is taken to repeat with similar.

EXPRESSO LOVE: Made up some ground late in a race that was not run that quickly. Give this one a shot

with a different pace scenario.

GET INSPIRED: Was an even fourth last out with maiden claiming company only losing the place spot by a head

and a neck at 26-1. Offers value in all exotics next out.

REMIEWATERBLUZ: Closed from dead last early on to get up for the win over $40k claimers at a price. The price

will still be solid next out with similar.

TAYLOR’S CAP: Was involved in a head to head duel with the odds-on choice throughout and held well to finish

second. Gets there next out at a decent price.

WONDROUS ZEAL: Showed good early foot and almost lasted for the win losing by a just a neck. Is a big threat

to go wire to wire with $25k claimers.

WORLDLY NAVY: Chased the leader and eventual winner throughout tiring slightly to third in the stretch.

4STARSPECIAL: HESALITTLERUNAWAY: Broke slow from the rail, then was forced to wait for room and still came

with a strong run to get up for the place spot. Was claimed from that race and should make amends next out.

LONGSHOT: DEVIL VALENTINE: Set a pressured pace from the 10 hole and still hung in there well for fourth at 22-1. A

better post can lead to a better result.

CHURCHILL DOWNS

APARECIDA: Took some money for career debut and ran a solid third despite racing wide into the

lane. Gets there with normal improvement.

BOSTON PARK: Showed some speed for about a ½ mile last out before tiring badly to finish last of 11. Draw

a line through that race and try him back over a fast track.

CAPTAIN NICHOLAS: Is always dangerous because of his speed and likes the Churchill course.

CHARITY GIRL: Easiest kind of maiden winner is bred very well and her connections have some options.

COLONIAL GLITTER: Never really fired last out when chasing a very fast pace. Give her another shot right

back at a solid price.

DECEIT: Never fired as the favorite last out over a yielding course that was tough to handle. Try back again

at a better price over a firm surface.

DELAWARE SQUEEZE: Just got up for the place spot last out by a head over the favorite in the slop. Should

boss $15k maiden claimers.

HIPPOGATOR: Got up to score by a nose last out over the slop. Well bred filly can handle all surfaces and a

switch back to the turf is a plus.

HOLY BURRITO: Easy wire to wire winner against starter allowance foes should be followed right back against

the same company.

POWER SURGE: Got a dream trip up the rail but still must be respected right back with $7k claimers. Taken to

repeat.

SHOTS: Was involved in the pace throughout and hung in very well to finish a solid second. Zito barn is going

very well right now.

SILVER SWINGER: Was the easiest kind of winner last out going wire to wire by four lengths. Taken to repeat

with similar.

WILDCAT SHOES: Dominating maiden winner must be followed right back with winners. 2YO may have a future.

4STARSPECIAL: CONTESTED: Was up against it trying to run down a loose on the lead winner over a sloppy track

last out. Will be real tough to down over a fast surface.

LONGSHOT: CHIEF NEGOTIATOR: Battled head to head for the lead last out and tired to sixth in the drive. Needs

a better pace scenario to get the job done.
