HORSES TO WATCH

By: AMERICAN TURF CLUB

FAIR GROUNDS

MOJITO MAN: Faced fleet pace foe, gave chase, and weakened over sloppy ground in hot sprint most recently; finds right spot to lead others a merry chase.

MORAL FIBER: Raced with pace and stayed on for third in his first try since late-September; one-mile trip in return gives needed conditioning boost for next time.

NITE IN ROME: New face in town chased and faded over good ground in return from break; filly with solid pedigree and connections steps up her game from here.

SARAVA MAN: Battled with leaders and weakened a touch to finish a useful fourth of 12 in racing debut; son of Sarava only improves from here.

SLEEVE: Lagged early and showed some late interest to grab fifth in what should prove a useful debut run to improve upon; son of Ten Most Wanted would appreciate added ground.

UPTOWN SEATTLE: Broke last of 11 from tricky rail post position in his racing debut, but showed nice stretch interest to be third; maiden win waiting for him next time.

4*SPECIAL: INNER LIGHT: Raced eager early but in some traffic, and then simply didn’t have the needed stretch punch in latest third-place finish; perhaps dead-send, maybe pair of blinks, works best now.

LONGSHOT: OH SO AWESOME: Typically lagged early but did put in a minor run to grab fourth over sloppy footing in his latest; packs punch on claiming scene with right trip.

TURF PARADISE

FRENCHIE’S FAST: Rallied off slow break to win going away, albeit in slow time over soft company, in first start since June; takes another if reasonably spotted.

HIDDEN BOUNTY: Sat a touch off pace, took over, and drew out to clear score at odds-on billing most recently; proven performer keeps rolling in current form.

MANNINGTOHARRISON: Chased throughout and stayed on for second behind blowout winner in his latest; game sort knocks out a big one on turf before long.

SILVER PLAN: Now has a pair of fair races under his saddle since back from August-layoff; puts in big run with lower-end claiming cast next time.

WAILEA WARRIOR: Made up plenty of ground to finish third in blanket finish most recently; nice to see veteran back on form, and thinking he holds it.

4*SPECIAL: PASS ME THE SUGAR: Battled on pace along the inside and weakened in lane when an improved and useful fourth in her first start since September; set now.

LONGSHOT: TOLL FREE: Lagged early behind legitimate pace, put in move to get in range, and flattened in lane to sixth most recently; past efforts say he does more with right trip.
