in latest; expect more going forward.
CRYSTAL CLIPPER: Won battle for second behind dominant winner when beaten at odds-on for latest; figures 
to atone off claim by trainer Albert.
FROSTY ALIBHAI: Rallied for fourth in race decided by duo that raced with pace throughout; needs hot pace to 
set up late pop in allowance routes.
JORGIE STOVER: Took both turns wide when fifth after middle-moving as failed favorite in latest; awaiting return in
 optional-claiming route spot.
MINER’S MINT: Lacked early speed, but rallied from wide spot to pick up third in maiden special weight route; stamp
 diploma past due at this point.
PHANTOM FOX: Late-moving style of little help when trying to rally from wide spot in race controlled on pace throughout 
by a blowout, odds-on winner; next time.
PRIVATE J D: Bore in leaving the gate and never really got on track thereafter when a well-bet disappointment in latest;
 worth one more shot versus maiden claiming stock.
PUFFIN POINT: Broke ninth of 10 from rail post and settled for a distant third as a beaten favorite in latest; believe Smith 
trainee is better than effort suggests.
SEA OF PROMISES: Led throughout clear-cut allowance score with something left most recently; follow Sea of Secrets 
juvenile filly through her conditions on local scene.
 
4STARSPECIAL: JACQUELINE K: Overcame post 10 on route scene to assert command early and lead comfortably 
throughout latest win; sharp filly with upside.
LONGSHOT: SENOR GATOR: Had eventful start bothering foes, then sped to lead and battled with pace before giving 
way; speed to exit maiden claiming ranks sooner rather than later.
 
 
FAIR GROUNDS
CAT OF TOMORROW: Chased in vain in maiden special weight sprint most recently; juvenile could be one to watch as
 distances get longer.
CHEROKEE WORLD: Was briefly clear early, but took chasing/fading role once headed as the failed favorite in latest; must 
respect speed in lower-end claiming sprints, nonetheless.
CONDOR: Settled wide, loomed, and lacked punch when it counted; one more chance with $10K-tag company for trainer 
Cuccia.
DANZAMAN: Settled early, middle-moved between rivals, and simply continued on in even, non-threatening manner in
 last; figures better in similar turf route company.
DYNA PENNY: Rallied for second, cutting into winning margin of promising winner who raced on clear pace; filly is very 
promising in her own right.
FOREIGN SECRETARY: Back-classy gelding lived up to favored billing with clear-cut score most recently; follow up the 
class ladder now for trainer Calhoun.
LADY GLACKEN: Raced between foes and was outrun by early leaders, but did respond when needed to edge clear 
for win; claimed by trainer Frederick, she can step up.
PRINCE MALAGRA: Had fair inside-out trip and did rally, only to come up a touch short when within length of winner and
 missing second by a head; can improve.
REASON TO SQUALL: Broke last of eight from rail post in last, and did rally well in turf route to finish third especially
 considering soft tempo; holds sharp form.
SIERRE NEVADA: Showed good speed from gate, racing with pace and battling gamely throughout in latest third-place
 finish; David trainee stays on our tickets.
SLOW WALKIN’ JOHN: Raced unhurried early, bid wide on the turn, and continued even in stretch; stay patient with 
juvenile.
STAR STRUCK LATTE: Graduated in latest, and was interesting $15K-claim by trainer Asmussen; juvenile packs punch 
and brings upside to the table.
 
4STARSPECIAL: JET LA RAIL: Battled on pace and weakened to third in latest claiming sprint; he did battle after being
 hustled between foes early and stayed on well to finish; next time.
LONGSHOT: BOLD BAYOU BABY: Flashed good early speed in crowded maiden special weight group last time, only to fade to 
finish fifth of 12; stay with juvenile filly.
