HRRN recognized with Media Eclipse Award

New York, NY (Sports Network) - The Media Eclipse Award in the Audio/Multi- Media Internet category has been given to the Horse Racing Radio Network (HRRN) for its live coverage of the 2010 Breeders' Cup World Championships.

"It's overwhelming to win the Eclipse Award," said Mike Penna, President of HRRN. "It's the highest honor we have in our sport. To win an Eclipse is the ultimate recognition for our broadcast team, which has devoted itself to year- round racing coverage the past six years."

The network provided 10 hours of coverage during the two-day Breeders' Cup at Churchill Downs on November 5 and 6. The award-winning coverage was produced by Adam Frenier and John Edwards, and Penna served as host.

The 40th Annual Eclipse Awards will be held on Monday, January 17, 2011 in Miami Beach, FL.
