Field and Uncle Mo top second Kentucky Derby Future Wager

Louisville, KY (Sports Network) - The second of three Kentucky Derby Future Wagers will get underway Friday at noon (et) and the mutuel field and Eclipse Award winner Uncle Mo are again the top two selections in the morning-line.

There are 24 betting interests including 23 individual three-year-olds along the mutuel field. The pool will run through Sunday at 6 p.m. (et).

The mutuel field, which includes all three-year-olds not listed in the pool, opens at 3-1 while Uncle Mo, the 2010 Breeders' Cup Juvenile champ, is 7-2. At the close of last month's initial Future Pool the field was 2-1 and Uncle Mo was 7-2.

Trained by Todd Pletcher, Uncle Mo is scheduled to make his 2011 debut on Saturday in the Timely Writer Stakes at Gulfstream Park.

Fountain of Youth Stakes winner Soldat is the clear third choice at 8-1. Trained by Kiaran McLaughlin, Soldat was 18-1 at the end of the first Future Pool.

The 137th Kentucky Derby will be conducted on Saturday, May 7 at Churchill Downs.
