Post times revealed for 28th Breeders' Cup

Lexington, KY (Sports Network) - Evening conclusions for each day of racing for the 2011 Breeders' Cup World Championships was confirmed on Thursday. The two-day event will be held on November 4-5 at Churchill Downs for the second straight year.

As has become tradition, Friday's race card will feature the five races restricted to female thoroughbreds.

The Breeders' Cup part of the program will commence at 4:10 p.m. (et) with the inaugural running of the $500,000 Juvenile Sprint which is open to both males and females. The day will continue with the $1 million Juvenile Fillies Turf, $1 million Filly & Mare Sprint, $2 million Juvenile Fillies, $2 million Filly & Mare Turf and the $2 million Ladies' Classic will close the program at 7:30 p.m.

Saturday's champiomship races get underway with the $500,000 Breeders' Cup Marathon at 1:20 p.m. The distance event will be followed by the $1 million Juvenile Turf, $1.5 Million Sprint, $1 million Turf Sprint, $2 million Juvenile, $2 million Mile, $1 million Cup Dirt Mile and $3 million Turf. The concluding $5 million Breeders' Cup Classic has a scheduled post-time of 7 p.m.

The $26 million World Championships will be broadcast on ESPN and ABC.
