Wise Dan continues atop NTRA Poll

New York, NY (Sports Network) - Woodbine Mile winner Wise Dan marks his second straight week leading the NTRA National Thoroughbred Poll. The gelding maintains a sizable lead over runner-up Game On Dude.

Trained by Charles Lopresti, Wise Dan garnered 17 first-place votes and 422 points, increases in both categories.

However, Wise Dan's advantage over Game On Dude dropped by a point as Bob Baffert's gelding picked up 10 top votes and 373 points.

Remaining in third is Santa Anita Handicap winner Ron the Greek. The 5-year- old, set for the Jockey Club Gold Cup at Belmont Park on Saturday, has one top vote and 296 points.

Fort Larned moved up a spot to fourth with two first-place votes and 255 points. The 4-year-old colt will start in the Jockey Club Gold Cup.

Mucho Macho Man slipped a rung to fifth with two top votes and 235 points. The 4-year-old colt is nominated to the Jockey Club Gold Cup.

Kentucky Derby and Preakness champ I'll Have Another continues in sixth with 14 top votes and 215 points.

Staying in seventh is Woodward champ To Honor and Serve with 155 points followed by Dullahan (123), Cotillion winner My Miss Aurelia (1, 119) and Acclamation (1, 80).

Questing, winner of the Alabama, dropped out of the top 10 after finishing second to My Miss Aurelia in the Cotillion at Parx Racing.
