Foot injury sidelines Dominguez

Ozone Park, NY (Sports Network) - Two-time defending Eclipse Award winning jockey Ramon Dominguez has been sidelined from riding with a bruised foot. North America's leading rider is expected to return after Christmas.
"He's going to take a few weeks off, and that will take us through the winter break. He'll be back the day after Christmas," said the jockey's agent Steve Rushing.
Dominguez suffered the injury while riding recently at Aqueduct, but was able to guide Stay Thirsty to victory last Saturday in the Cigar Mile. along with wins in the Gazelle and Remsen Stakes.
Through Nov. 25, Dominguez has won 328 races from 1,363 mounts for more than $25 million.
