Ten ladies entered in Delaware Handicap

Stanton, DE (Sports Network) - Hawthorne Handicap winner Summer Wind Dancer has been installed as
the 5-2 morning line favorite for Sunday"s $750,000 Delaware Handicap at Delaware Park.
The 1 1/4 mile race has attracted 10 older fillies and mares from around
the country.
Trained by Jeff Mullins, Summer Wind Dancer has earned $415,762 in her career while
 racing entirely in California. The four-year-old claimed the $100,000 Hawthorne Handicap
 in June at Hollywood Park. Summer Wind Dancer will start from post nine with Victor
 Espinoza coming in for the mount.
The second choice at 7-2 is Roar Emotion. Owned by Joseph Allen, Roar Emotion will be
ridden by Hall of Fame jockey Jerry Bailey and break from post five. The four-year-old
 has earned a total of $433,490 and is trained by Kiaran McLaughlin.
Misty Sixes is the third choice in the program at 5-1 for the Delaware Handicap. The
 six-year-old will break from post two with Mario Pino aboard. The mare is owned by
Puglisi Stable and trained by Steve Klesaris. Locally based, Misty Sixes has won all
 three starts this year, including the $100,000 Obeah Handicap here. For her career,
she has earned $321,894.
Completing the field for the DelCap are Shiny Sheet, Go On Baby, Gelli,
Cloak of Vagueness, Redoubled Miss, Firecard and Savedbythelight.
