Dullahan has Bejarano for Pacific Classic

Del Mar, CA (Sports Network) - Defending Pacific Classic winner Dullahan will be ridden in this year's race by Rafael Bejarano. Donegal Racing posted the . announcement on its Twitter page.

"Leading Del Mar jockey Rafael Bejarano will ride Dullahan to defend his Pacific Classic championship."

The riding opportunity became available when Joel Rosario got Game On Dude's mount. Hall of Fame jockey Mike Smith, Game On Dude's regular rider, will be in Saratoga the same day as the Pacific Classic to ride Royal Delta in the Personal Ensign.

Trained by Dale Romans, Dullahan was third in the Arlington Handicap earlier in July over Arlington Park's turf course. The 4-year-old colt was 11th behind Animal Kingdom in the $10 million Dubai World Cup on March 30. Earlier in March, he was also 11th in another stakes in Dubai.
