Seven appear headed to Haskell

Oceanport, NJ (Sports Network) - The second place finishers in the first
two Triple Crown races this year top the prospective field of seven
for this year"s 37th running of the $1 million Haskell
Invitational at Monmouth Park.
The Haskell will be run on Sunday, August 8 at 1 1/8 miles.
Lion Heart who finished second to Smarty Jones in the Kentucky Derby, is coming
 off a hard fought victory in the Long Branch Stakes at Monmouth. The three-year-old
 has finished in second place three times this year in five starts. Lion Heart is
owned by Derrick Smith and Michael Tabor, and trained by Patrick Biancone. In his
 career, the colt has earned $780,800.
Rock Hard Ten captured the Swaps Stakes at Hollywood Park earlier this month. The
 colt was second in the Preakness Stakes behind Smarty Jones and then was fifth
 in the Belmont Stakes. Rock Hard Ten has won three of his six starts this year
 for $630,380. He is trained by Jason Orman for Mercedes Stables.
Also expected to run in the Haskell are Wood Memorial winner Tapit, Courageous
 Act, who was the second place finisher in the Iowa Derby, Royal Assault, who was
third in the Belmont Stakes, Long Branch runner-up My Snookie"s Boy and Wimplestiltskin.
