By: SPORTS NETWORK
Lexington, KY (Sports Network) - Keeneland announced Thursday that E. Paul Robsham Stables will be getting out of the thoroughbred breeding business and disperse its entire breeding stock at Keeneland's 2013 November Breeding Stock Sale. "Together, Paul and Joyce Robsham built a racing and breeding operation that competed at the highest levels of the sport," said Bill Farish of Lane's End Farm, the agent for the sale. "Since Paul's death several years ago, Joyce has continued to pursue their passion with great success. She loves her horses, and enjoys every aspect of the game." E. Paul Robsham died in 2004 and his widow, Joyce, has continued the breeding and racing operation. The Robshams bred and raced stakes winners Awesome Maria, Discreet Cat, Discreet Dancer, R Heat Lightning, Discreetly Mine and Pretty Discreet. Mrs. Robsham will continue to race thoroughbreds.
