Rahystrada gives Sycamore Stakes another try

Lexington, KY (SportsNetwork.com) - Rahystrada. fourth last year, leads a field of nine turf runners into Thursday's $100,000 Sycamore Stakes at Keeneland.
Rahystrada finished 3 1/2 lengths behind Kindergarden Kid in the 1 1/2-mile race last year, when both were 3-1 in a seven-horse field. The 9-year-old gelding, trained by Byron Hughes, has drawn post 6 with Leandro Goncalves getting the mount.
Owned by Robert Courtney Jr., Rahystrada notched his second straight, third overall, victory in the Arlington Handicap on July 13. He followed with an 11th-place finish in the Arlington Million.
The chestnut gelding has earned $1,381,750 in 45 lifetime starts with 14 wins.

The Sycamore has a post-time of 4:49 p.m. (ET).
