By: SPORTS NETWORK
Louisville, KY (SportsNetwork.com) - Game On Dude finished a disappointing ninth in this year's Breeders' Cup Classic as the 17-10 favorite. However, the 6-year-old gelding has bounced back and is ready for the $500,000 Clark Handicap at Churchill Downs the day after Thanksgiving. "The weight is a factor," trainer Bob Baffert said about the weight assignments for the Clark. "He's coming off a loss, so I guess he'll get some consideration. "He's doing really well, so right now all systems are go." Weight assignments for the 19 thoroughbreds that were nominated to the 140th Clark on Friday, Nov. 29 are scheduled to be announced on Friday. Game On Dude, co-owned by Joe Torre, was undefeated in five starts coming into the Breeders' Cup. The gelding posted wins in the San Antonio Stakes, Santa Anita Handicap, Charles Town Classic, Hollywood Gold Cup and Pacific Classic. This year, he has earned $2.47 million and overall has banked more than $5.6 million with 15 wins in 28 starts.
