Opening odds released for first Kentucky Derby Future Wager

Louisville, KY (SportsNetwork.com) - The morning-line odds for the first Kentucky Derby Future Wager leading the to the 140th Run for the Roses on May 3 have been revealed.

The Future Wager will be available four days from Wednesday, Nov. 27 through Saturday, Nov. 30. It has 24 betting interests, including 23 individual horses and the mutuel field of "All Others."

"All Others" is the 2-5 morning-line favorite. The 15-1 second choice and top 2-year-old is Honor Code. The colt, trained by Shug McGaughey, is expected to be the favorite in Saturday's Remsen Stakes at Aqueduct.

Breeders' Cup Juvenile winner New Year's Day is 20-1 in the morning-line along with Almost Famous.
