EXPLORATIONIST: Delivered a break-through performance winning by 8 ¾ lengths in wire-to-wire fashion last out. Makes it two in a row.

LOVE RUSH: Like the improvement this filly has shown since shipping in off dismal Aqueduct form. Finished fourth July 20, third July 31, then fifth Aug. 11. All systems are a go.

MAC JUSTICE: Haltered by low-profile outfit in the beginning of July, but has done well with the bump up in class. ‘Justice’ will be served.

MARIA’S MAGIC: Her form has improved dramatically since shipping in to Suffolk. Speedster can wire nickel claimers.

MY LAWYER JOHN: Keeps on running second [made it four straight Aug. 11]; shouldn’t be forgotten though. Speedster is always a threat to steal one.

POTRI MARSHAL: If you toss out his one start when they stretched him to a route July 13, you have a pretty consistent runner. Doesn’t like to win, but can be very useful for the gimmicks.

ROYALSALY: Finally returned after being on the shelf for 12 months putting forth an eighth-place finish. Should be tighter for her next start.

SEA CHATTER: Faced better in Florida and the brief freshening has done her well. Exits the maiden ranks when dropped to claiming company.

4PSPECIAL: CARLOW: The expectations were pretty high on this filly [4-5 chalk Aug. 11] shipping in off a fourth-place finish at Belmont, but she could only manage finishing third. Don’t think we’ve seen her best yet.

LONGSHOT: NO PHONE SWABBE: If you can ignore his last three, he has a couple of respectable outings further back. You will be compensated for your risk factor at the windows.
