Mutuel field heavy favorite for second Derby Future Wager

Louisville, KY (SportsNetwork.com) - The mutuel field of "All Others" closed as the 3-2 favorite among 24 betting interests in the second Kentucky Derby Future Wager for the 140th Run for the Roses on May 3.

The second of four Future Wagers opened Thursday at noon (ET) and closed Saturday at 6 p.m. prior to the running of the Robert B. Lewis Stakes at Santa Anita. There were 23 individual 3-year-olds and the mutuel field of "All Others."

"All Others" opened as the 7-5 morning-line favorite, but was bet down over the three days to 3-2.

Holy Bull Stakes winner Cairo Prince opened at 8-1 and closed at 13-1 along with Top Billing, a new wagering interest.

The top 3-year-old was Honor Code. The Remsen Stakes winner closed at 12-1 after having a morning-line of 10-1.

The remaining pools will be held Thursday, Feb. 27-Saturday, March 1 and Thursday, March 27-Saturday, March 29.
