Mutuel field and Cairo Prince lead Future Wager at close

Louisville, KY (SportsNetwork.com) - The mutuel field of "All Others" closed as the 3-1 favorite among all betting interests in the third Kentucky Derby Future Wager for the 140th Run for the Roses on May 3.

The third of four Future Wagers began Thursday at noon (et) and closed Saturday with the start of Aqueduct's Gotham Stakes. Listed were 23 individual 3-year-olds and the mutuel field of "All Others."

"All Others" opened as the 6-1 morning line favorite after closing at 3-2 for the second Future Wager three weeks ago.

Holy Bull Stakes winner Cairo Prince closed as the 9-1 second choice and top individual 3-year-old.

Top Billing, third in the Fountain of Youth Stakes, and stablemate Honor Code both finished at 11-1 and Robert B. Lewis Stakes winner Candy Boy was 12-1.

The final pool will be held from Thursday, March 27-Saturday, March 29.
