Social Inclusion jumps out as Future Wager favorite

Louisville, KY (SportsNetwork.com) - The opening hours of the fourth and final Kentucky Derby Future Wager for the 140th Run for the Roses has seen Social Inclusion vault into the lead as the favorite among the 24 betting interests.

Two hours after the betting began Thursday at noon (et) Social Inclusion has been made the 6-1 favorite after opening at 20-1 in the morning line. Social Inclusion won an allowance race over Honor Code on March 12 at Gulfstream Park.

Second in the early going at 8-1 is Holy Bull Stakes winner Cairo Prince. The colt, 6-1 in the morning line, will start in Saturday's Florida Derby.

California Chrome, the Future Wager 5-1 morning line favorite, is 10-1 as is Gotham Stakes winner Samraat. At 12-1 is Rebel Stakes champ Hoppertunity.

Several 3-year-olds are 17-1: Risen Star runner-up Albano, Lewis Stakes winner Candy Boy, Tampa Bay Derby champ Ring Weekend and Rebel runner-up Tapiture.

The mutuel field, 8-1 in the early line, is 14-1.

The final Future Wager closes Saturday at 6 p.m., prior to the start of the Florida Derby at Gulfstream Park and the running of the Louisiana Derby from Fair Grounds.
