Social Inclusion debuts at Pimlico
By: SPORTS NETWORK
Baltimore, MD (SportsNetwork.com) - Preakness Stakes probable Social Inclusion has arrived at Pimlico Race Course for the upcoming 139th running of the middle jewel of racing's Triple Crown. Trained by Manny Azpurua, Social Inclusion arrived in Baltimore Thursday morning and will take to the track Friday morning. The 3-year-old colt will jog once around the track and gallop a mile. Social Inclusion, owned by Rontos Racing Stable Corp., was third to Wicked Strong in the Wood Memorial at Aqueduct on April 5. "In the Wood Memorial, I believe he learned a lot," Azpurua said. "I'm so pleased the way he ran. I think he's going to run a good race. He's been doing everything I've asked him. He's got his mind on running." The colt did not race as a 2-year-old in 2013 and has won two of three starts this year for $149,000. Luis Contreras has the mount on Social Inclusion for the Preakness.
